How to Send Weekly Collab Invite Reminders in Shopify
A great way to boost activation rates is by sending Collab Invite Reminders to those who have been invited but haven’t joined yet.
This guide outlines a step-by-step process for sending reminders to both newly invited individuals and those with expired invitations.
Before you begin, log in to your Shopify Admin panel.
Reinvite expired creators
A smart way to boost your reach with Shopify Collabs is by resending invites to creators who haven’t joined your program. These follow-up invites don’t count toward your Shopify Collabs invite limits, allowing you to consistently connect with a large number of creators each week.

In Shopify Admin, go to Collabs → Recruiting → Invited Creators.
- Switch from the default Pending tab to the History tab.
- Click Resend Invite button to reinvite creators who didn't respond last time.
- Repeat the process until all expired individuals have been sent a new reminder.
Why should you do this weekly?
In addition to inviting new individuals, you'll continuously grow your invitee list—enabling you to reach a substantial number of creators each week.
Accepting Collab Applicants
As a result of these reminders, you may receive Collab Applicants. Shopify will notify you via email when an application comes in. When this happens, you’ll need to manually accept the application and send a Welcome Gift.
Follow these steps to review and approve applications:
- Go to Collabs from your Shopify Admin.
- Under Things to do next, click Review pending applicants.
- Click on the applicant’s name.
- Copy their Personalized Link (e.g., yourstore.com/COPYTHISLINK).
- Click Make an offer.
- On the right-hand side, click Edit and paste the applicant’s Personalized Link.
- Add offer benefits:
- Select Affiliate tier → Brand Rep.
- Select Gift → £XX Welcome Gift Voucher (Important: Ensure you select the Welcome Gift Voucher!).
- Click Send offer.
- Go back to Collabs and repeat this process for any remaining Pending Applicants.
The sooner you do this, the higher the likelihood that the Collaborator will onboard into your program and place a Gifted Order.
Send your new customer offer email to your 'CUSTOMERS' segment
As your email list grows through events like abandoned carts and checkout visits, creating a new customer offer (i.e., £20 off your first order) to capture these leads is the single most effective way to convert those visitors into customers.

In Shopify Admin, go to Apps > Email.

Locate the correct email. This email will be sent to the CUSTOMERS segment.

Click the three dots and select Duplicate email.

Edit the Subject Line (remove 'Copy of').
Don't forget to review your storefront.
Before sending this email, take a moment to review your storefront and ask yourself: Is it updated with trending products (such as your best sellers), seasonal themes (like Spring, Summer, or Autumn), or upcoming occasions (like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, or Father’s Day)?
If not, go to your Shopify Admin > Online Store > Customize and make the required changes.
Also, don't forget to update your stores' navigation to reflect the same. To do that, go to Shopify Admin > Content > Menus and make the required changes here also.
Review and send the email.

Review and edit the email content as needed.

Click Review (top-right).

Click Schedule send.

Select 'Now' or schedule for a specific time.
