How To? Launch a Free Dropshipping Store (and sync 2,500+ products)

So—you're here because you want a dropshipping store, but you have no money to spend and no idea where to start, right?

Here’s the exact steps, word-for-word.

Step 1 — Open your free Shopify store

  1. Go to Shopify.com and create your account.

  2. Name your store (you can change this later).

  3. Skip the fancy stuff for now—just get inside your admin.

  4. You’re in the Shopify dashboard. That's Step 1 complete.

Step 2 — Install SyncLogic

Why SyncLogic? Because it lets us live-sync our catalog to your store—titles, descriptions, media, inventory, and updates—without you touching CSVs or manually creating products.

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Apps → Shopify App Store.

  2. Search SyncLogic.”

  3. Click Add appInstall.

  4. Approve the free 30-day trial, you can cancel it afterwards and you won't lose access to any products already synced to your store.

TIP! You won't be able to get new products or live updates if you uninstall the SyncLogic App. 

Step 3 — Subscribe to our catalog connection (the magic bit)

Inside the SyncLogic app:

  1. Click “Subscribe to Connection.”

  2. Enter this Connection code: 3WQ3W78F

  3. Settings:

    • Match products with handle on accepted connection (Recommended).

    • Ensure “Create new products when one is not found with your selected matching strategy” is checked.

    • Under Unlink Behaviour, select “Delete or Unpublish product”.

  4. Click Connect.

  5. Join our Slack Channel, and let us know so we can approve your connection.

You’re done. Your store is now connected to our Live Sync catalog. Products will begin populating automatically.

Step 4 — Quick tidy-up so your store looks legit

Payments

  • Settings → Payments → turn on Shopify Payments (and PayPal if you use it). Alternatively, if you can't use Shopify Payments, use something else, like Stripe.

Shipping and delivery

  • Settings → Shipping and delivery

Policies

Copy our policies from the links below. Be sure to amend them to remove any winstercreations references, branding, emails or domains, and replace with your own. 

Collections & Site Navigation

Create Collections

  • Products → Collections → Add collection → Smart → Set Conditions
  • Repeat and create all of your collections.

 

Site Navigation

  • Content → MenusMain Menu
  • Create Menu items linking to your Collections.

Domains (this is essential for credibility)

Connect your custom domain when you’re ready. (always use .com or .co.uk if possible, and try to match your social handles i.e., Instagram, TikTok with your exact domain).

  • Settings → Domains

Open your store

  • Online Store → Preferences → untick Password protection. Your store is now open.
  • Place a test order (discount a product to £1 if needed).
